by Robert E. Kowalski Cal and I have known each other personally and professionally since 1986. You learn a lot about a person in that much time. He is an internationally acclaimed physician and endocrinologist, and one of our greatest authorities on the functional structure of the pituitary gland. Why should you care about that?
Because, in a very real sense, by reading his book and following its program, you are choosing him as your physician; and as such, you obviously want the very best. Having exposure and access to doctors across the country in every possible specialty, thanks to the nature of my career as a medical journalist, I confidently refer literally everyone I know and meet who needs weight control to Dr. Ezrin. Aside from being capable and respected, Dr. Ezrin truly cares about his patients.
In contrast to many in our unfortunate era of cynicism and opportunism, you will not find Dr. Ezrin touting and hyping his own products or engaging in self-promotion. He chooses, rather, to spend his time preserving his passion for scientific research within the confines of his medical practice. As such, the advice you are about to receive is based on the most up-to-date medical and scientific thinking and knowledge. Since Dr. Ezrin would doubtless be too modest to actually say so, let me state that the true reason he has written Your Fat Can Make You Thin is his sense of mission to improve the world's health. He would really rather, if it were at all possible, personally speak with, examine, and treat every single man and woman who has struggled futilely with his or her weight. Since that is obviously not possible, his book becomes the next best thing, an extension of himself. Consider yourself privileged to have him as your doctor.
When I first heard Dr. Ezrin's theories, they made scientific sense to me; but the true drama came in meeting the many men and women who have enjoyed spectacular success because Dr. Ezrin was their doctor. And now, he is can be yours as well. Congratulations!
